Miss Kristin T. Wright, the author is a single mother of two, and a grandmother as well. She is currently an English teacher in Dunkirk NY where her students teach her more than she does teach them. The illustrator is her adoptive sister Kerry Sokolowski formerly Kerry Anne Wright who resides in Franklin Tennessee, mother of three girls. Kristin sings, dances, plays electric guitar and goes by Mimi, because grandma is too elderly for her now.
